Interdisciplinary and Professional Programs Support

One of the recommendations of the ad hoc committee on Interdisciplinary Programs was to clarify channels of communication and lines of administrative support for interdisciplinary programs. Following that recommendation, the following assignments are used for interdisciplinary and pre-professional programs:

Asian Studies: Division II Chair and Detchon Center AAC

Biochemistry: Division I Chair and Hays Hall AAC

Business Minor: Division III Chair and Division III AAC

Environmental Studies: Division I Chair and Hays Hall AAC

Film and Digital Media: Division II Chair and Fine Arts Center AAC

Financial Economics: Division III Chair and Division III AAC

First Year Experience/Freshman Seminars: Dean of the College and Division III AAC

Gender Studies: Division II Chair and Center Hall AAC

Global Health: Division I Chair and Hays Hall AAC

Hispanic Studies: Division II Chair and Detchon Center AAC

Neuroscience: Division III Chair and Division III/Hays Hall AAC

PPE: Division III Chair and Division III AAC

Pre-Engineering: Division I Chair and Goodrich Hall AAC

Pre-Health: Division I Chair and Hays Hall AAC

Pre-Law: Division III Chair and Division III AAC

Assignments generally persist across personnel changes. However, periodic alterations in workload in combination with changes in program and division chairs may prompt re-examination of assignments.
